The event is aimed at spokesperson committee members from large and medium-sized companies in all sectors. The focus is on current economic and career-related issues that go beyond the mandate as representative of senior executives. Expenses include <\/span><span style=\"color: black\">z. e.g. removal costs, costs for the second home (e.g. furnishings or renovation costs) and second home tax. &#8220;A separate household does not exist if the employee still lives in the parents&#8217; household,&#8221; emphasizes the BHW expert. <\/span><\/p>\n\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;line-height: 15.15pt;margin: 0cm 5.35pt 6.8pt 0cm\"><b><span style=\"color: black\">Civil partnership and marriage <\/span><\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: black\">In its decision of 7 July 2009 (case no. <a href=\"https:\/\/dejure.org\/dienste\/vernetzung\/rechtsprechung?Text=1%20BvR%201164\/07\" title=\"1 BvR 1164\/07 (2 zugeordnete Entscheidungen)\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"external\">1 BvR 1164\/07<\/a>), the Federal Constitutional Court ruled that the unequal treatment of marriage and registered civil partnerships with regard to occupational survivors&#8217; benefits for employees in the public service who are insured with the Federal and L\u00e4nder Pension Scheme (Versorgungsanstalt des Bundes und der L\u00e4nder &#8211; VBL) is not compatible with the Basic Law. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: black\">The provision in the VBL Rules according to which, in the event of the death of an insured person, survivors&#8217; benefits are granted only if the person had lived in a marriage is invalid. This discrimination of registered civil partnerships compared to marriage constitutes a violation of the general principle of equality under Article 3.3 of the Basic Law.
