The professional title “Wirtschaftspr\u00fcfer” is not protected in Switzerland.
\nAnyone who now wants to know whether a confirmation comes from a “genuine” auditor can easily find this out on the Internet, because the names are listed at https:\/\/www.treuhandkammer.ch<\/a>.
\nIf it is not a WP who is a member there, then any attestations and confirmations are obviously worthless according to the professional code of conduct of the Chamber of Trustees. A conversation with lawyers in Switzerland reveals that it unfortunately happens all too often that “fake” auditors make “declarations of convenience” – a circumstance that can also have criminal repercussions in Switzerland.
