1st appearance of CSS in Germany a complete success

Date: 07.11.2007 – 10:16 Category: Commerce, Economy, Finance, Banks & Insurances Press release of: CSS Versicherungen AG Vaduz
(openPR) – exciting discussions around age reserve, ombudsman and PKV federation Vaduz. For the first time CSS presented itself around managing director Beat Moll during the DKM in Germany. With the health insurance professional Thorulf Müller, lawyer Dr. Johannes Fiala and actuary Peter Schramm, CSS was able to win over three recognised specialists in the field of private health insurance as speakers. The feedback from the participating representatives of large broker pools was correspondingly enthusiastic, and they were able to take away important information for their everyday practice. “The active discussion showed how great the interest is in our products, which among other things are calculated in a progressive way without any age provision”, Beat Moll, who himself was involved as a speaker, was pleased to say.
Peter Schramm calculated that the up to more than 50% higher premium with age provision would be a loss-making business for three quarters of the insured, as most insurance policies would be terminated prematurely. The premiums saved on tariffs without an age provision should better be invested alternatively. If the mediator does not sufficiently inform about the loss of the age provision in case of an insurance change, he has to pay for the premium difference, warned RA Dr. Johannes Fiala with regard to the judgement of the Federal Supreme Court (Az. III ZR 228/05). The KV professional Thorulf Mueller held a plea for the insurance broker, who makes the ombudsman superfluous as a trustworthy administrator of the customer. If you have a dispute with a foreign insurer, you can turn to FIN-NET, the European Commission’s complaints network. Jodok W. Kobelt, as moderator, led through the event in a sovereign and sympathetic manner.

With over 100 years of history and corresponding experience, CSS stands for careful innovation and rock-solid services. In addition, its size guarantees continuity: the annual premium volume amounts to just under EUR 2 billion. With its subsidiary CSS Versicherung AG (headquartered in Vaduz), the CSS Group has expanded its business activities to Germany in order to enable local policyholders to benefit from services that are unique by German standards, such as the CSS.flexi modular model or the no-claims bonus.
